It’s official: for the second year in a row, Sage Accpac ePOS has achieved top honors in The CPA Technology Advisor annual point-of-sale software comparison review! Discontinuation of Tax Tables for Sage Accpac 5.1

As of January 1, 2007, tax table updates for Sage Accpac Payroll 5.1 will no longer be supported. This means that there will be no January 2007 tax table update for Sage Accpac Payroll 5.1.

In order to be eligible for January 2007 tax table updates, you will need to be current on Payroll Update Plan (PUP) and be using one of the supported Sage Software Payroll products (version 5.3 or 5.4).

Notification of this discontinuation was sent by mail and email last year.

Announcing the Release of Sage Accpac HRMS

Sage Software is pleased to announce the release of Sage Accpac HRMS. Sage Accpac HRMS is based on the award-winning Sage Abra human resource management system. With its integration to the Sage Accpac ERP U.S. and Canadian Payroll modules, Sage Accpac HRMS replaces ACCPAC HR Series as the Sage Accpac human resource management system of choice. 

Sage Accpac HRMS provides a full complement of core HR, training, and recruiting capabilities, all built on a MS-SQL or MSDE database. It comes complete with hundreds of standard reports, Crystal Report Writer, customizable templates, and an easy-to-use query tool. Additional employee self-service and benefits enrollment capabilities are also available to automate workflows, streamline routine employee requests, and improve efficiency and productivity.

Please note: Integration between Sage Accpac HRMS and Sage Pro ERP U.S. Payroll is scheduled to be released in early 2007.
